February 5, 2012 Made a new Alligator model, rigged and animated. Walk Cycles and Chew Toy animations completed!
January 6, 2012 After taking some time for holiday events, I got back to work on the next animation, a quarduped walk cycle using the dragon model from before.
December 14, 2011 Posting a Work In Progress. I've been recreating Evolution of Dance with my Bob Rig. Its a 6 minute clip, so I'll be working on this in chunks, with other projects inbetween so as to not get burned out. This is rather interesting, since I myself can not dance.
December 8, 2011 Multi-Update! I've been spending a lot of time recently working on some new animations and rigs, so I'm going to share two at once. One is a simple little owl animation, and the other is a dragon flight cycle.
November 9, 2011 Took some time today to do another rough animation study, this time a swimming manta ray. They just look so cool!
November 8, 2011 I've been away, but recently started working on another animation exercise. This time, its a quadruped that blends two different strides, as well as a lanky humanoid torso on top.
June 12, 2011 I've completed making a new animation test character, complete with anew rig and facial morphs. I'll work on creating and uploading more demos in the comign weeks. April 28, 2011 I've uploaded a small selection of player animations from Nuclear Dawn to exhibit actual in-game animations. Assault, Exo, and Stealth go through Walks, Runs, and Crouches. ---------------- April 22, 2011 The last Nuclear Dawn Demo is up, this time showcasing the Assault and Support Classes showing everyone just how important it is to work as a team. ---------------- March 9, 2011 Another demo is up, this time featuring the Consortium Stealth character doing a quick knives demonstration. Click Here ------------------ March 3, 2011 I've edied together several animations to make a quick demo sequence of a Consortium Exo to start showing what I've accomplished working on Nuclear Dawn. ------------------- Feb 28, 2011 Well, a long, long, looong wait this time. May I offer many apologies, my friends. In the intervening years, I have been working as a Freelance Animator for Interwave Studios, working on Nuclear Dawn, a post-apocalyptic war game, that hybridizes First Person Shooter elements with Real Time Strategy. As events would have it, my contract with IW will expire at the end of March, 2011. So, it’s once again time to go on the Job Hunt. I will be uploading new content in the coming days and weeks. Wish me luck, guys! --------------------- Sept 17, 2008 Another long wait, another Work In Progress. I suppose it falls under "Fan Art", as it is an exercise in choreographed combat using Lightsabers. I also modeled a pair of hilts for this scene. ---------------------- May 25, 2008 Another Work In Progress has been uploaded. I figured if I'm going to make a reel with my 3D models, why not make a unique base to show them off. Check it out. ---------------------- March 7, 2008 Been a while, but I'm still here. This time I got permission from the higher ups to post a set of animation cycles for an enemy character from Black Mesa. Enjoy! ---------------------- July 18, 2007 Tossed up a new set of renders in the 3D Gallery, this time it is a set of shots from a 3D environment I created back in a modeling class. Just a random apartment built from a reference photo. --------------------- July 16, 2007 Posted a Work In Progress, a simple Character Studio exercise with Abbot and Costello. Updated resume as well, to reflect recent Enemy Animations for Black Mesa and Best of Show during Portfolio Review at AiP. --------------------- July 11, 2007 Another batch of animation cycles have been added to the 3D Gallery, this time it is the Insectoid Walker motion study I did a while back. It was an experiment at a simple humanoid torso on a quadruped base. ---------------------- June 17, 2007 The updates may be far between, but they do get here. Well, big updates this time are I am now working full time at Home Depot to pay the bills, and that I have posted renders of some of my 3D models. I hope to add some more as I find the time to make them. ---------------------- May 1, 2007 It's been a while since the last update, but the job search has consumed most of my time for the past 4 months. I've uploaded my "Big Project" from about a year back. It's a short cut scene featuring a cartoony character named Hero Bot. Also, I've started posting links to friends' websites. I'll get more up as soon as I can. ---------------------- January 13, 2007 I have posted the animation test I completed to become a volunteer animator on the mod team Black Mesa Source. ---------------------- January 11, 2007 First batch of 3D Animations are up. It is a group of Dragon and Minotaur animations for a class project from a few months back. The idea was to use pre rendered images in a 2D side scroller, similar to Donky Kong Country back in the day. Original concepts by Katrina Carey, 3D Models and Textures by Michael Clark. Now that I've got the process down, the rest of the characters should be up soon. Links to Friends' sites coming soon as well. ---------------------- January 3, 2007 The site is up and running! Well, maybe "walking" is a better word.... There is currently only a small section of character sketches, but I am working hard to get the rest of the content formatted and uploaded. I plan on updates about once a week at least. |
